This translated Korean kawaii-style picture book is full to the brim of cartoon cuteness and detailed double page spreads, reminiscent of Richard Scarry’s “Busytown” books. Lee’s adorable, colourful illustrations abound with joy and his expressive animal villagers are sweet and childlike. There’s also a gentle message here about community and the environment, too. A delightful, fun book with plenty of fun detail to spot.
