About this book
Stevie is glum that she and her mum are moving from their flat in the city to a little country cottage. To help her settle in her new home, Stevie’s grandmother gives her a special gift: a beautiful doll’s house in the shape of a large teacup. The cup sits in a saucer painted like a garden, and opens up to reveal several miniature rooms. The little house comes with an assortment of furniture and, best of all, a family of little toy rabbits, Gabriel and Bo Twitch and their children, Silver and Fig.
As soon as she arrives at the cottage, Stevie sets up the teacup house, but in her haste, she drops Daddy Twitch in the garden. As she frantically searches for him, she is unware that the little rabbits come to life when no one is watching, and resourceful Silver sets off on a perilous journey to rescue her father.
Delightful illustrations, bursting with colour, bring this gentle adventure to life. This is the first title in what promises to be an enchanting series of chapter books for newly confident readers.
