About this book
George Fleet really has a charmed life. He is popular in school, good at sports, has an amazing girlfriend and some great mates. When he saves a baby from a fire, things get even better. He is awarded a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Australia to take part in an outback survival adventure with a group of boys his age. But before they even leave the airport, things start to go very wrong.
As the worrying accidents and weird occurrences pile up, it looks as though someone has it in for the golden boy - and once the group is isolated and alone in the outback, that someone turns their hand to murder…
This is an unnerving and expertly written psychological thriller. The narrative is split between George's account of events and the angry rants of the anonymous killer from within the group. Despite the tantalising clues throughout the book, it is almost impossible to guess who is behind the brutal murders - and the reveal is a shock. A dark, disturbing, fast paced-story that will keep readers on their toes.
*Contains scenes of violence and murder.*
