About this book
In the Super Happy Magic Forest, everyone frolics all year round: enjoying the candyfloss cave, the constant picnics and the affordable pixie housing, made possible by the Mystical Crystals of Life.
When the crystals are stolen by goblins, however, the five bravest (and not at all reluctant) warriors begin their epic quest to bring them home.
This anarchic and amusing picture book deserves much praise for taking commonplace story elements - pixies, goblins, unicorns and magical locations - and giving them an original twist.
The comic illustration style is rich and vibrant and the writing completely hilarious. It's a great read for younger primary school children and their parents.
