About this book
Harvey Small has been expelled from pretty much every school he’s gone to, and after a particularly bad incident (OK, so he might have set fire to the headteacher’s trousers…) his Mum decides the only solution is to send him off to Madame Bogbrush’s School for Gifted Giants. The only problem? Harvey isn’t a giant. He’s a small boy. On stilts.
With the ever-present threat of being stomped into a sandwich by human-hating giants hanging over him, Harvey embarks on his first term at Giant School. Along the way, he perfects his grunting; makes a new best friend; and begins to unravel a secret plot that could put the whole school in danger! Will Harvey measure up to save the day?
This seriously silly story has enough bogeys, burps, and bad smells to entertain any 9-11 year old; but underneath the stinky swamp goblins and swamp-paste sandwiches, there’s a strong message about not carrying the blame for things that aren’t your fault.
