About this book

While out for their morning fly, Kevin the roly-poly, flying pony and his best friends Max and Daisy come across something exciting. A field full of unicorns and the chance to enter a Magical Pony Club race.

Although the unicorns and their riders are all rather snooty, and tease Kevin about his big bottom and round tummy, he is entirely focussed on training for the big event.

But it turns out there is more at stake than just the glory of victory and Kevin, Max and Daisy could be the only ones clever enough to foil a dastardly plot and save the day.

Short chapters, gentle humour and magical characters make Kevin’s exploits ideal for newly independent readers looking to build their reading confidence with funny and engaging stories.

Extra energy and personality come from the hilarious illustrations, depicted in shades of blue, that appear on every page, adding to the fun and excitement.

This is one of a series of adventures featuring Kevin, Max and Daisy but they can all be read independently of one another.
