About this book

There are lots of people that come to the rescue when someone needs help. Now you can help too, by lifting the flaps!

The ambulance driver needs help wiping the croc’s poorly knee. The firefighter needs help squirting the hose, and the lifeguard needs help doing up her lifejacket before she sails into action. There’s even a helicopter pilot needing the reader’s help, and a wonderfully satisfying car wash at the end.

This charming, small book has sturdy pages, with lots of chances for interaction. For instance, you can lower a ladder to save a mouse on a mountain. Thagency (or power!) this gives the reader will be very pleasing to most toddlersLifting the soft felt flaps will help improve their fine motor skills too.

This brightly coloured world of helper – and very importantly their corresponding vehicle! - and person in need is immensely appealing, especially as all the characters are different animals. That's not surprising - Sam Lloyd is an experienced author-illustrator who knows just how to delight young children. Perfect for sharing with toddlers.
