About this book
It’s Puppy School Adventure Weekend and Peggy the sausage dog is very excited. But then she finds out she’s too small and her legs are too short to in any way compete with the other dogs in races and challenges. She’ll never win the Best Pup award of an enormous bone. Poor Peggy Little-Legs! She can see all her friends are brilliant at something but what is she best at? Then an unexpected challenge gives Peggy the chance to shine!
A lovely book in the Little Gems series which is perfect chapter book for new readers and also printed in dyslexic friendly font and paper type. There aren’t too many words on the page and there are engaging and sweet illustrations on most pages which add warmth and delight to the story. It’s a great inspirational tale with a moral that everyone has their talents and strengths, even though some are less obvious than others and take a while to emerge. A fun, life-affirming adventure with lovely doggies.
