About this book
Who doesn’t enjoy playing peekaboo? Even the animals, birds and insects in this forest-themed, interactive board book can’t resist joining in!
Sturdy, sliding tabs on the cover and every page are ideal for little fingers and, when moved (either up and down or from side to side) will reveal, and then hide, a host of woodland creatures. Play peekaboo with a bear, a pair of cheeky squirrels, a busy bee, some friendly ladybirds, a rabbit, birds and owls before the final page which reveals a mirror so baby can join in too.
The artwork is bold, uncomplicated and in bright colours which complement simple, rhyming text with a touch of humour. Illustrations also show enough incidental information about the forest environment and animal habitat to keep children interested as they get a little older.
Robust enough to cope with the enthusiasm of the most eager youngsters, this is an easy book to share and enjoy with babies and pre-schoolers aged 0-2 years.
