About this book
Oscar, a glum-looking unicorn, is so hungry he eats his own stable, leaving him homeless. He trots off to find somewhere new to live but things don’t go to plan when Oscar upsets his hosts.
The pirate is not impressed when Oscar nibbles his ship and causes it to sink. The witch is not impressed when Oscar gnaws on her gingerbread house. Oscar gobbles lots of fairytale houses and ends up in real trouble when he eats the trolls’ bridge. Luckily for Oscar, one very pink and sparkly fairy-tale character steps in to offer him a special home.
This hilarious book will brighten up any day. Turning classic fairy tales upside down, children will be eager to point out familiar characters and explore the wonderfully detailed illustrations in this picture book.
This vibrant mix of the familiar, with some modern twists, is sure to be a hit with under-5s.
