About this book
It's bedtime, but the toddler in this delightful little board book is not tired and has lots to do before she’s ready to sleep.
First, she must play with all her cuddly toys, then she requests just one more story, followed by one more snuggle. After a frantic search for Snoozy Ted, Mama gives her a final kiss goodnight and she eventually succumbs to sleep.
This book features plenty of familiar scenes which will resonate with children and their parents. There are a range of everyday objects on each page for young children to identify, from toys and clothes to the moon and stars visible through the window, which will help develop their language and observational skills.
Minimal words allow readers to construct their own narrative, and the colourful, full-page illustrations will provide visual prompts to help steer the story.
The thick, sturdy pages have rounded corners, making the book comfortable and safe to handle, and the rhyming text gives the tale a gentle rhythm.
A lovely board book which is sure to become a firm favourite, especially at bedtime.
