About this book

Lulu’s family is moving home. Mummy is having a new baby and the family needs more space.

There’s a lot to do before the big move. With a clever sticker system in plan, Lulu helps organise the packing boxes. The family have a farewell feast with their neighbours, and then it’s moving day.

Lulu’s new bedroom feels and smells different, but her best books are on her bookshelf and she can see the the stars from her new window.

Over the years, we've enjoyed watching Lulu and her little brother Zeki grow and learn through a range of everyday adventures. In this latest instalment of the much-loved Lulu series, the book explores themes of change and facing big life changes.

The book gently and reassuringly explains what a family needs to do to prepare for a move. It shows how unsettling it can be, but not necessarily scary.

Warm, colourful illustrations show how the whole family works together to prepare for their exciting new adventure. And the story is told in simple language, making this a great read for toddlers and also for emerging readers to start working through.
