About this book
Best friends, koalas Bob and Archie, have recently learned that they have superpowers and are keen to embark on their first mission to save the world. They get their chance to shine when supervillain Dr Colossus, a giant ostrich who is behind a surge of criminal activity in the town of Pawtonia, orchestrates a heist at the museum. He arranges for an undercover meerkat to hack the security system before sending in a crack team of robber ducks to steal an ancient mummified chicken. His dastardly plan is to take over Pawtonia and it’s up to the Koalas in Capes to stop him – if only they can get to grips with their newly-acquired powers.
This is the first hilarious tale in an imaginative series of illustrated chapter books. The witty narrative, silly plot and larger-than-life characters will have junior readers hooked from the start. A map at the beginning of the book will help children to visualise the setting of Pawtonia, while the black-and-white illustrations throughout add extra humour and entertainment.
