These rhymes are mostly in English, though there are a few Irish rhymes too, meaning that you don’t have to be Irish, or speak it, to enjoy this. Rather delightfully, some rhymes from the National Folklore Collection have been chosen, meaning that children in Ireland will have been chanting these words for over 100 years.  

This would make a wonderful gift, and is ideal to read aloud to a precious little one.
