About this book
It’s been a year since the Ash Tree Foundation was closed down. It was supposedly a centre helping teenagers deal with technology addiction but was actually a front for a dangerous augmented reality programme run by obsessive tech baroness, Dagmar Nilsson.
Ruby, Freya and Ivy, survivors of the foundation, are just starting to get their lives back on track when they discover that Dagmar has returned and her latest scheme could threaten every person on the planet.
Unless she can be stopped, she could end up controlling the entire world.
But Dagmar is hiding, something she’s very good at. How can three teenagers possibly find her, draw her into the light, and foil her plans? Perhaps with a little help from an unexpected source.
Endgame is the culmination of three previous books exploring the potential misuse of AI and other technologies: Echostar, AdelAIDE, and The Foundation. Although it can be read as a stand-alone story, readers are likely to enjoy it more if they have read at least one of the preceding books.
Presented in a dyslexia-friendly format, and with plenty of nail-biting moments, Endgame is about power, greed and the relentless quest for control and wealth by Big Tech.
