About this book

Caiden and Sam are helping Caiden's dad clear a house after an old lady died there. She had collected some weird things, for instance, heads of bizarre creatures and a huge number of weapons. The friends are back in the warehouse with the stuff when they realise they've brought something else back with them. Something that's evil. Something that's hunting them. Can they solve the mystery of what it is - and how to stop it - before it finds them?

This gripping short story from the queen of horror is very readable. Killick builds the tension masterfully, creating a creepy atmosphere from the start. Set in a dyslexia-friendly font, with illustrations throughout, this is a satisfyingly chilling read.
