About this book

Kara is not thrilled about being dragged along to an open day at her sister’s university. But things take a much more exciting turn when she, her cat Sandro, and the university’s Cosmology professor are all accidentally transported to an open day at The Universal Nature Reserve: a scientific research park on the planet Sagbia.

Professor Rubin leads Kara and her new friend Wilf through the reserve’s exhibits where they bounce around in anti-gravity, feed a baby star, float along the river of space-time, and even test out a black hole simulator!

However, as they journey through the reserve, officials from Photoni Incorporated are hot on their tail. It turns out they’re not too happy about Professor Rubin having their transporter and want it back. But if they take it, how will Kara and her friends get home?

Cosmo Park is a really unique graphic novel concept which expertly blends real-life science facts with a compelling adventure story. The stunning and colourful illustrations depict a diverse cast of characters and help visually explain tricky scientific concepts.
