About this book

Kola had been training for almost a year. He was to be the first child in space, but the mission was abandoned once the Onni arrived.

When the giant spaceship appeared over the Houses of Parliament, the Onni said they had come to save Earth from an intergalactic Alliance which had selected the planet for recycling. Luckily, the Onni want to help humanity – if they prove themselves worthy.

Ninety-one children from across the globe must undergo a series of trials on a distant planet and, if they are successful, Earth will not only be saved but will benefit from the Onni’s advanced technology.

At last Kola has his opportunity. Space travel is more exciting than he ever imagined. But working with a group of mismatched strangers to solve complex problems tests his endurance to the limit.

And are the Onni as peaceful as they seem? Or is there a hidden agenda with more sinister consequences?

With edge-of-seat drama, playful humour and mind-boggling aliens, this sci-fi action adventure embraces diversity and inclusivity and has something for everyone.

Focussing on overcoming differences to stand firm in the face of adversity, Kola and his friends are excellent role models for the world’s decision-makers.
