About this book
Cactus Kid is determined to become the world's most powerful wizard and prove to his dad that he's not a baby anymore. Having perfected his starter potion and mastered beginner fire spells, Cactus Kid is now ready to take it to the next level.
According to the Manual Magic Spell Book, the addition of stardust from a star rock will boost his potion, so he heads to Star Rock Mountain in the Neverending Desert to search for the special ingredient.
Unfortunately, all the star rocks were mined long ago, leaving a deep crater where the mountain once stood. Cactus Kid's only chance of getting hold of the precious rock is to win the Moto-Brawl, a fast and furious motorcycle race across the desert, where the grand prize is a lump of star rock. However, it's a tough, dirty race and the other competitors will do whatever it takes to win.
This madcap graphic novel is teeming with offbeat humour and quirky characters. With minimal text, most of the action unfolds within the vibrant comic-strip illustrations.
The first in a series, this wacky tale would appeal to fans of Bunny vs Monkey.
