About this book
The reader usually identifies with the main character from the very beginning but in this book the author asks us to engage with a character who represents everything we don't like - a bully! But this story challenges us to see beyond our prejudices and understand that everyone has their own story, not just the main character! In a gripping tale of a thief who robs London landmarks, the reader meets brave and warm characters who are homeless. The author weaves Brân's development from the bully at the beginning of the book to the hero at the end, developing an understanding of the life of homeless people. This is a book that requires the reader to look behind the curtain and look with new eyes at the world around them.
