Bad to the Bone!

About this book

The dog in this book is Bad to the Bone: a leather-jacketed, James Dean-esque top dog that protects his pack. In return, his loyal and loving pack of humans adore him: they feed him, cuddle him and even pick up his poo in little bags.

However, on a trip to a café, Nash sees another dog and “protects” his humans, meaning that he trashes the café and is asked to leave. It’s the ultimate humiliation, and when Nash’s humans utter the terrible words “Bad Boy!” Nash is beside himself with grief.

Fortunately, the family pack can’t stay cross at their favourite boy for long. Phew!

Inspired by Alex Willmore’s pet chihuahua Nash, this quirky and hilarious story about an overprotective dog and his loving humans will be familiar to all dog owners. Full of humorous illustration and a very expressive chihuahua, it’s an adorable and fun read.
