My Story Pack

Your donations have helped us send My Story Pack books and resources to 203 schools and nurseries across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

My Story Pack is a programme created to help reception-aged children and their families strengthen their love of reading together.

Our research shows that 85% of families read to children in their first year of life, but as children grow up, shared reading starts to decline – usually coinciding with when they start school.

Once this happens, it can be very difficult to reverse. My Story Pack is working to prevent this.

Each My Story Pack includes a copy of First Day at Bug School by Sam Lloyd, a guide for parents and carers, stickers, an activity book and pencils.

We also provide teachers with a toolkit to help them use the resources.
