Mae’n amlwg yn adnabod ei ddarllenydd felly mae digonedd o ffeithiau ffiaidd rhwng y cloriau yma! Trwy gyfuniad o arddull doniol a darluniau Henry Parker, mae’r llyfr yn gwneud darllen am bwnc cymhleth yn brofiad hwyliog.

Dyma destun bydd yn tanio diddordeb ar draws y cwricwlwm ond yn enwedig ym meysydd: Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg, Ieithoedd, Llythrennedd a Chyfathrebu, Iechyd a Lles.

Creating a non-fiction book that also makes children laugh is quite a challenge and that’s exactly what Adam Kay has succeeded to do in this book. The adaptation by Eiry Miles does justice to the original and succeeds in conveying Kay’s unique style.  The author guides the reader around the body, sharing all sorts of facts. It’s clear that he knows his readers so there are plenty of disgusting facts between these covers! Through combining a humorous style and Henry Parker’s illustrations, the book makes reading about a complicated subject a fun experience.

A subject that will stimulate interest across the curriculum but especially in the areas of: Science and Technology, Languages, Literacy and Communication, Health and Well-being.
