Monkey Photo

Publisher: Tara Publishing

Monkey is tired of tourists taking his photo, he wants to try out the camera too. Snatching one from a stray hand, he starts to snap the tigers, snakes, elephants - all the birds and animals in the jungle - whether they like it or not.

At the end he hangs all his photos on a tree where all the animals can come and look at them. The animals love to see themselves and thank him.

Each page is filled with illustrations in a folk style from Bengal; bold outlines for features, patterns for fur and feather and bright colours. Complemented by a lively, rhyming text, this is a fun book to spark the imagination.
