You Can’t Eat a Princess

Publisher: Scholastic

It’s the day of Princess Spaghetti’s birthday party and everything’s ready: chocolate sandwiches, extra thick chocolate milkshakes and an enormous birthday cake (chocolate, of course). But one thing’s missing: her dad, the King!

As soon as Princess Spaghetti discovers that King Cupcake has been kidnapped by aliens – and that all the Royal Knights are busy doing their hair - she commandeers the Royal Rocket and blasts off into space. It looks as though rescuing her dad from some very hungry aliens might be tricky, but Princess Spaghetti can be pretty persuasive – especially with some chocolate on hand.

Fans of chocolate and space will adore this princess book with a twist, whose protagonist is very definitely at the centre of all the delicious action.
