When her baby brother is mysteriously kidnapped by crows, Prue McKeel knows she must rescue him. But to do so she must go beyond the borders of her hometown of Portland, Oregon and venture into the forbidden Impassable Wilderness. Joined by her friend Curtis, Prue sets out on a journey that will take her into the heart of a wild and secret world, populated by strange creatures and fraught with danger.
