The Mouse Who Reached the Sky

Publisher: Walker Books

The third of Petr Horáček's picture books about Little Mouse and his friends again revolves around the need for cooperation to achieve what we want, and how we interact with others.

In the latest story, Little Mouse is certain he has seen a beautiful red marble hanging in a tree, and seeks help from Mole and then Rabbit to try to get it down. However each of the others thinks it's something different, and is keen to play a different game.

Horáček's misty double-spread illustrations are interspersed with vertically quartered pages showing the animals' attempts to reach the object, and an extra flap shows just how high it is!
