The Boo! Zoo

Publisher: Pan Macmillan

Dear Zoo creator Rod Campbell is always a sure-fire hit with babies and toddlers, with his distinctive (and delightfully simple) illustration style and read-along repetitive text. It’s no surprise that The Boo! Zoo is just as fun and appealing as his other peekaboo books.

Once again set at a zoo, children get to guess which animal lurks behind each large card flap. Be prepared for lots of enthusiastic yelps from the toddlers reading along, when they spot what looks like an elephant trunk or tiger paws peeking out from beneath! Younger babies will love trying to turn the flaps and learning the names of the animals. Everyone will enjoy the big “BOO!” when it comes to the reveal.

At the end, all the animals line up together, and the very friendly monkeys say they like you and you’re welcome back at the Boo! Zoo any time… You’ll both be smiling by the end and want to return to the zoo straightaway!
