Toddler Trixie and her father head off on a routine visit to the laundrette in their Brooklyn neighbourhood. But when Dad accidentally puts Trixie’s beloved stuffed animal into the machine along with the washing, things start to go pear-shaped.

On the long journey home the toddler tries to tell her dad what’s wrong (AGGLE FLAGGLE KLABBLE!), but resorts to increasingly desperate measures as her baffled father utterly fails to interpret her attempts to communicate. Mum, of course, assesses the situation in an instant, the rabbit is recovered, and Trixie learns her first words: 'Knuffle Bunny'.
