Bang, Bang, You're Dead!

Dhami's thriller takes us from a dysfunctional home, where twins Mia and Jamie live with their divorced mother, whose bipolar disorder threatens to engulf their entire existence, to a school siege in which a pupil holds a class hostage.

Mia tells her own compelling story, and engages readers both with her difficult home-life and the back story in which she recounts her realisation that Jamie has been engaging in increasingly violent reprisals against those who cross him.

Readers confront mental health issues head-on, and the strain they put upon both the sufferer and their friends and family.

Although the preface offers a clue to the denouement, we challenge readers to uncover the truth of Mia's story before the final chapter.
