A loving look at the bond between dad and daughter

Published on: 14 June 2018

Nicola O'Byrne has made a picture book all about moving home, from the perspective of a daddy bear and his little girl. Turns out that home really is where the heart is – take a look in our exlusive picture gallery.

Everything is about to change... Evie Bear is moving home.

Where's Home, Daddy Bear (Walker Books) is a tender story about dealing with change, featuring a little girl who is full of a million questions and worries.

Very patiently, her dad reassures her with some wise and comforting words, as they make their way from the city to the countryside.

As the journey goes on, Evie Bear grows a little less frightened: as long as she's with dad, she will always be at home.

Take a look at our picture galley below to get a taste of this real tearjerker from Walker Books – and its lovely, warm, nostalgic illustrations.
