Crazy about cats? You'll love these pictures

Published on: 16 November 2017

The latest book from Owen Davey's animal series sees him draw some of our favourite felines – and they're gobsmackingly good. Just see for yourself...

Owen Davey's excellent animal series has so far featured Mad About Monkeys and Smart About Sharks. They've all been brilliant and impeccably illustrated, full of fascinating facts. But we'd be fibbing if we didn't admit that the latest one truly is the cat's whiskers.

From the lynx to a lion, the level of detail really is quite astonishing. And that's why we just had to include it in our Great Books Guide 2017, a round-up of our top 60 books of the year.

Check out our gallery below to see what we mean – but perhaps don't do it with your slow, overfed moggy around. They may get an inferiority complex!
