Look out for this update of A Christmas Carol

For many people, A Christmas Carol is THE festive story they re-read every year. Now, Michael Rosen and Tony Ross are re-telling the tale in their own funny, magical way in Bah! Humbug!

Michael Rosen and Tony Ross are two giants of children's literature. Among other things, Tony Ross has written and illustrated the much-loved Little Princess series. Wordsmith Michael Rosen is the man behind absolute classics such as We're Going on a Bear Hunt and Sad Book. So it's not much of a surprise that they can tackle even Dickens and do it brilliantly.

The duo take A Christmas Carol and frame it within the modern day, with a young boy playing Scrooge in his school's play of the book. Will his father actually be there to see him act – or will Dad be called away on business, as per usual?

Bah! Humbug! is thought-provoking and heart-warming – just like the original – but also very, very funny. And it's perfect for children who may be a bit too young to fully absorb the message of A Christmas Carol just yet.
