Letterbox Club for Schools in England

As one of the flagship programmes at BookTrust, Letterbox Club has, for over 20 years, continued to be enjoyed by thousands of children along with their parents, carers and teachers to get children reading wherever they are.

...In fact, 68% of Letterbox Club children say they have been reading more on their own since receiving their parcels.    

We know through our research that the Letterbox Club has a positive impact on reading habits. With a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, novelty books and accessible maths games, there is something to spark the interest of all children to read more, and build up those essential reading miles that we know have such an impact on reading fluency.   

Strengthens parental engagement   

Letterbox Club parcels can be taken home by children to encourage and support the home-school link, with books, stories and numeracy games to share and enjoy with their trusted adults along with guidance on how to make the most of the resources.
