Letterbox Club wins Highly Commended Teach Primary Award 2024
Published on: 26 November 2024
We’re thrilled that our Letterbox Club programme has won the Highly Commended award in the English category of the 2024 Teach Primary awards.
Every year, TeachCo celebrates the very best in educational resources from the EYFS through to KS4. The Teach Secondary, Teach Primary and Teach Early Years Awards provide a detailed picture of what supports teachers and schools in delivering the highest standards in education.
We’re over-the-moon that this year Letterbox Club has been chosen as a highly commended resource in the English category of the Teach Primary awards.
One of the judges in the English category, Rebecca Simpson-Hargreaves from the UKLA had this to say about Letterbox Club:
“A lovely, valuable and affordable resource for supporting vulnerable and non-vulnerable students. Each parcel is vibrantly wrapped, containing well-curated texts that are excellent, inviting and tempting for children to read.
The inclusion of stationery and games adds extra enjoyment to this resource. Receiving Letterbox packs will embed a love of reading and make children feel valued.”
About Letterbox Club
BookTrust’s Letterbox Club is a set of six parcels that include expertly curated resources such as books, maths games, letters from authors, and exciting stationery items for children experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage aged 3-13. It is unique in that it provides schools with everything they need for their vulnerable children in one place and saves teachers time having to search for the ‘right’ resources for their pupils.
