Tom scribbles the world from his point of view, each page is an explosion of hand-written rants, funny stories and dynamic cartoons. It’s not easy when I’m up against Delia, my weirdo big sister, and all my plans seem to get me into MAJOR TROUBLE…' This book oozes personality and with so much going on it promises to maintain the attention of young readers for hours at a time.

I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to people who like funny books and doodling. My favourite part was when his best mate's dog ate his tickets . Now that was funny. I would recommend it to 6 to 12 year olds .

I really enjoyed reading Tom Gates and it brought me to becoming a really big Tom Gates fan.!I think it's a really funny book and my favourite part is when Tom accidentally says,''big beady eyes!"I would recommend it to anyone who likes comedy books.I think the fact that it is a diary makes it feel like someone is actually doing all these things and writing them down.

This book is one of the most popular book in Britain! Not many books have lots of pictures, and funny bold words, and this book does! I've read all Tom Gates books, which are all fantastic, especially this book. I think this book is very funny.
