Goth Girl and the Fete Worse than Death
Publisher: Macmillan
Celebrity chefs are arriving for the Great Ghastly-Gorm Bake Off; Maltravers the gamekeeper is behaving as suspiciously as usual, there's a shy Lady's Maid in a wardrobe making suspiciously growly noises and no-one seems to have remembered Ada Goth's birthday. Chris Riddell's third book in the Goth Girl series intrigues and delights with a cakey combination of adventure, love and webbed footnotes.
This beautiful, quirky and hilarious book will appeal to both boys and girls, particularly any fans of the Great British Bake Off. Children will love identifying their favourite chefs - Nigellina Sugarspoon, Gordon Ramsgate and Heston Harboil, among others - in Chris Riddell's tongue-in-cheek illustrations. A fun, pun-filled book for children with plenty of appeal to teens and adults too.

I thought this book had some amazing illustration and I thought it had some good description but I would not have it as a book to have another one of these it is great that Chris Riddell he continues with his great work but I wanted it to be more interesting as I did get confused while reading the book I did not finish the book I got up to chapter 5 but this was a very good slightly different book to others .
