Bigfoot, Tobin and Me

A tragedy brings Lemonade Liberty Witt to her grandpa's place in Willow Creek (Bigfoot capital of the world) from San Francisco, but she is determined she won't be staying long. The countryside is full of dust, dirt and bugs. It's far too quiet and her breakfast cereal seems to be sticks, seeds and bark.

Then she meets Tobin: the bossy, quirky CEO of Bigfoot Detectives Inc, who is in need of an assistant. Over the course of the summer, the pair investigate sightings and follow clues in an attempt to find proof of Bigfoot's existence - but their journey and final discovery have separate and surprising consequences for each of them.

For a story tackling some very difficult themes (death of a parent, bullying, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD]) this thought-provoking adventure is remarkably uplifting, humorous and life-affirming. Great character development and an engaging mystery make for gripping reading.
