Published on: 14 Gorffennaf 2017

Rush headfirst into Roller Girl, the tale of the totally firece Astrid and her friendships, family life and epic roller derby sprints. Just check out the pictures...

Author-illustrator Victoria Jamieson has just made an incredibly cool graphic novel, all about the world of roller derby through the eyes of 12-year-old Astrid.

Her illustrations really do a great job of capturing the energy and fun of the sport - and it's no surprise to hear that Victoria is actually a “roller girl” in real life, who goes by the name of Winnie the Pow!

Check out the gallery below, and we guarantee you'll want to get this book for any child in your life aged 8-12 (or even just for yourself).
