Please note: our School Library Pack will not be delivered in 2023 while we take time to learn and research how we can best offer more targeted support for secondary school aged children from low-income backgrounds in the face of rising costs. Our Special School Library Pack will still be delivered to qualifying Special Schools.

School Library Pack
For students in Years 7-9, the free pack includes fifteen titles, split across three categories – Future Classics, Reluctant Readers and Non-Fiction. There are five titles in each category. Five of these titles come with six copies as they are great for reading groups, making a total of 40 books.The pack is perfect for promoting sociable reading experiences and reading for pleasure.
Special School Library Pack
For students with additional needs, this collection of ten books was selected by a panel of SEND practitioners. Covering themes and topics appropriate for 11-14 year olds, the pack includes a variety of accessible formats including sensory books, interactive books, picture books, dyslexia friendly books, short fiction, books with audio CDs and graphic novels.

Encourage reading for pleasure
Bookbuzz supports schools to encourage reading for pleasure. Participating schools give their students the opportunity to choose their own book to keep from a list of 17 titles suitable for children in Year 7 or 8 and selected by a panel of experts.
