Malala Yousafzai has inspired people across the world - and now she's telling her story to younger children for the first time.

Five years ago, Malala Yousafzai flew into the public consciousness after being targeted and shot in the head by the Taliban - all because she had campaigned for girls' rights to education.

Since then, Malala has become a source of inspiration in so many ways, becoming the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and continuing to campaign on behalf of girls across the world.

She has already told her story in books for adults and teenagers, but now she's releasing Malala's Magic Pencil, introducing the tale to younger children for the first time in a beautiful picture book.

Featuring stunning illustrations by Marie Pommepuy and Sébastien Cosset, known as Kerascoët, the tale focuses on a young Malala's wish for a magic pencil to change the world - and how she came to realise that she could still have a big impact even without one.
