Poor Doug has lost his dog at the park and he needs help finding him. It’s up to us, the reader, to become detectives and find the lost canine friend.

On each page, Doug shares clues about his dog, and that's when the interactive part of the book comes in. As Doug describes his dog, listing one characteristic at a time, readers are encouraged to pat the dogs with spots, and tickle all the small dogs, among other funny actions. Little ones will really enjoy stroking, shaking and patting the pages while trying to discover which dog belongs to Doug.
