We're Going on a Bear Hunt (book and CD)
Publisher: Walker Books
A great audio-visual pack which comprises a book and a CD. With fun actions and repetitive rhyming text, this awardwinning classic is particularly good for sharing with several children together, but guaranteed to be loved by any child.

Me and my son absolutely LOVE this! He literally know this story off by heart. He loves the facts that it rhymes and the sound effects throughout the story! We even have the board game and dvd for this,

We love doing the actions and sounds as the characters progress on their adventure. The illustrations are a bit too old for my 6 month old.

The kiddies love joining in with the movements and noises on the families journey. They like it towards the end as they are running back home.

My 2-year-old daughter loves this book, often saying the next bit before we have reached it. She loves doing the actions along side it.

Lovely book, fun to read as an adult. Enjoyable for children. One that is adaptable for games.

My 3 year old daughter totally loves this book!! Sometimes we read the book and do sound effects, sometimes we act it out and other times we read along to the cd or just play the cd. It's so much fun!! We also sing the "we can't go under it" etc bits for other things, such as when my daughter asks how we get to something, i'll say "we can't go under it" she'll sing the rest then we work out how we will get there. Brilliant :)

This is a firm favourite of both mine and my 2 year old boys. There's so many activities you can find to do surrounding this story online and so we've done a lot of work with it - story telling, acting, crafts, singing, rhyme. There's just so much you can do with it. Brilliant!

My daughter and her friends at her toddler group love this story, so much so we acted it out last term with tissue paper grass, shaving foam snow and a makeshift cave!

What a brilliant book! I first saw Michael Rosen perform this book on Youtube and couldn't wait to get hold of it. My daughter, who is 8 months old, absolutely loves hearing this book. It is cleverly written with a natural rhymn so you are chanting "Were going on a bear hunt..." and you become so animated with the sounds throughout the story "swishy swashy", ""splash splosh" that I am guaranteed lots of smiles and laughter.

My little boy who is three loves the book, but is terrified of the cd. He sees it and starts crying and screaming. The book he adores as we act it out and make all the noises and hide under a blanket laughing and giggling at the end. A brilliant book.

I read this book to my daughter when she was in her mum's belly and since. Its got great swishy swashy sounds that really let you play with sounds. Beautiful imagery too, especially the last page.
