Tiger, It’s Snowing!

Publisher: Post Wave Publishing

It’s snowing! Tiger has never seen snow before and is eager to go out and play. But best friend Mei isn’t so keen. It is quite chilly, after all.

While Tiger frolics in the snow, Mei tries to convince her pal to turn back and go home where it’s warm. But Tiger is having so much fun and Mei soon changes her mind and joins in as they roll down snowy hills, have a snow fight, and make snow angels.

Then young Mei starts to shiver. Tiger wraps her up with big tigery paws and together they head home for a tasty bowl of hot soup with Mum.

This is an adorable picture book about two friends embarking on a snow-filled adventure and embracing new experiences. Little readers will enjoy the dynamics of this duo, watching as Tiger leads the way, doing all the things Mei is, at first, reluctant to try.

Daishu Ma’s simple but textured illustrations are atmospheric, perfectly depicting the chilly feeling of being outdoors in the snow and then the cosy comfort of home. From joy to sleepiness, the characters’ large eyes are full of expression on every page.

An absolute delight for the eyes as this charming story about new experiences and friendship is told.
