On his way to Dashwood Castle, young Tom is stuffed in a sack by the outlaws and learns that Uncle Alf (aka Lord Dashwood) has been harshly treating his tenants. But Tom discovers that Marshal Guppy is the real tyrant, so helps the outlaws to unmask him. In the second story, Tom and his friends go in search of a Red Rock Mountain dragon, while the third tale sees Squat, the tiniest outlaw, tasked with defeating the fearless French knight, Sir Jacques de Zack.
