Publisher: Macmillan Children's Books

The Rhyming Rabbit isn’t like the other rabbits, he likes to make up rhymes about the world around him but not everyone is interested in hearing them. Why can’t he just eat the grass and sleep like everyone else, the other rabbits grumble.

Feeling sad, lonely and unwanted, the Rhyming Rabbit decides to leave the burrow and heads off to the outer world, but no one else seems to appreciate his rhymes either, until he finds an unlikely companion – a sheep who also likes to rhyme, and together they make the perfect rhyming pair.

This lovely story about the importance of individuality and looking at the world around you is beautifully illustrated with Lydia Monks’ soft pastel paintings with glitter on every page.
