The King of Tiny Things

Publisher: Puffin

When two little girls go to stay with their grandparents in the countryside, they are very excited about being allowed to camp out in the garden but when bedtime comes and all the nighttime bugs come out, the idea doesn't seem so appealing.

Until, that is, they meet the King of Tiny Things who shows them all the good things creepy crawlies do for us and teaches them the value of a myriad of minibeasts.

Detailed and delicate illustrations and some rhyming text make this a particularly appealing picture book for youngsters and may even help to dispel some fear of the dark.
