Marcel loved ice cream, and he ate it all the time. But he was cross that the sun turned it into a drippy mush before he could finish eating it. Then Marcel had an idea - he would turn off the sun.

He built a solar-powered spaceship, travelled up to the sun, found its big 'off' switch and turned it off.

When Marcel awoke the next morning, the whole world was in turmoil. The flowers and forests were dying, the oceans were freezing and all the animals were in hiding.
