I loved this book. We read this book in my final year in primary. There were so many themes in this book and they all linked together. I would definitely recommend this book to people in Year 6 and above. Never judge a book by its cover. That’s what I did but I still loved it.

I don't like it. I think that the chapter are way too small it takes 3 pages to get to the next chapter and they not good writing it in super small sentences that is just a waste of a page. the only thing like it the teacher trying to sound like Slellig. I just think it not a book for me if anyone who want to read it they just read it.

I would recommend this book because it tells you not to give up on his life. Skellig just sat there and gave up at the start but near the end he saved Michael's baby sister's life. This is a great story to read, it makes you think what Skellig really is. I will also recommend the film that goes with the book but the film is different to the book. Michael and Mina made Skellig strong and Skellig said thank you and helped Michael sister's heart to beat again.

This book is very bland and is filled with terribly written characters skellig's only personality is being a cynical angel who doesn't care and nothing changes Michael is stupid and just repeats what others say.

The book was aright also I wasn't really into book or film and book was too long for me. The book will aright for younger children who would probably enjoy the book or film. My favourite part of the book was when Michael asked Skellig to help save his sister. The book wasn't exactly exciting but I enjoyed the story. There is a film of this book but it is quite different. I think the book was much better and I would like to thank my English teacher for reading it with us.

I love this book because it had lots of information in the story and the characters were very good. I think this book would be great for all ages. My favourite bite is when Michael gave Skellig some left over chinese food .
