Nina and the Kung-Fu Adventure

When Nina befriends Lee, the new Chinese boy in her class, she is horrified to learn that his parents were kidnapped in Beijing the month before. Why would anyone want to kidnap a literature professor and a kung-fu expert?

The only clue Lee has is an ancient Chinese riddle which has disappeared from their house. In the dead of night, Nina and Lee use her aunt’s magic spice shed, a top-secret teleportation machine, to travel to China to try to solve the riddle and find Lee’s parents.

But riddles are notoriously difficult and in China, everything seems increasingly complicated and increasingly dangerous…
